Welcome

In order for us to connect the world of wellness, we need people to know exactly who we are at Mindbody, so it's vital that we present a clear and consistent brand. That's why we created these Mindbody Branding Guidelines ("Guidelines"). When our brand is clear to consumers, we can build the relationships that make us more and more useful to you as a partner.

Mindbody Branding Guidelines

All written and designed aspects of the Mindbody, Inc. ("Mindbody") brand are Mindbody intellectual property and are valuable assets of the corporation. Mindbody permits the use of its brand, name, trademarks, service marks, company marks, product marks, web pages, screenshots, logos, and other brand features (which we will refer to as "marks and logos" moving forward) only as specified in these Guidelines. Any use that falls outside of these Guidelines, and that is not based on separate written and signed permission, is strictly prohibited.

I. Who are these Guidelines for?

These Guidelines apply to Mindbody employees, customers, licensees, developers, partners, consultants, outside vendors, the media, and other third parties ("you"). By using Mindbody marks and logos, you agree to adhere to these Guidelines and specifically to the use requirements and terms below. If you have a separate written and signed agreement with Mindbody that addresses the use of the Mindbody brand, that agreement shall govern your use of Mindbody marks and logos.

II. Mindbody marks and logos

You may refer to Mindbody products and services by their associated marks and logos so long as such references are truthful, fair, not misleading, and comply with these Guidelines, which may be modified by Mindbody from time to time in the sole discretion of Mindbody.

When referring to Mindbody products and services,

  • Mindbody marks and logos must be used as provided by Mindbody with no modifications.
  • Do not incorporate Mindbody marks or logos into your own product names, service names, trademarks, logos, company names, domain names, website title, publication title, application icon, favicon, or the like.
  • Do not adopt marks or logos that are confusingly similar to Mindbody marks and logos.
  • Do not display Mindbody marks and logos in any manner that can be reasonably interpreted to suggest that any content has been authorized by—or represents the views or opinions of—Mindbody or Mindbody personnel.
  • Use the appropriate trademark symbol and trademark acknowledgment that Mindbody owns the marks and/or logos in question. If you are creating ads, white papers, sales materials, or general collateral using the Mindbody logo, following the terms set in these Guidelines or with written permission from Mindbody, we ask that you put one of the following taglines at the bottom of the page, at the bottom of the ad, or at the bottom of the design whenever you feature the Mindbody logo:
    • © 2017 Mindbody, Inc. All rights reserved. Mindbody and the Mindbody logo are registered trademarks of Mindbody, Inc.
    • © 2017 Mindbody, Inc. All rights reserved. [Insert Trademark] is a trademark of Mindbody, Inc.

Logo display: The Mindbody logo must stand alone. To preserve the integrity and clarity of the Mindbody logo, you must ensure the presence of a certain amount of "clear space" between the Mindbody logo and other graphic or textual elements. That "clear space" must be—at minimum—half the width of the circular brush stroke "Enso" design in our logo, as shown below.

That is, if the width of the circular brush stroke "Enso" in the logo is x, there must be .5x of "clear space" surrounding the logo on all sides.

Logo and background color: The Mindbody logo should always be used in color for online use. The Mindbody logo should also be used in color for print applications unless the color version is not practical, in which case the logo can be reproduced in solid black. The preferred background color for the logo is solid white. When a solid white color is not practical, the logo may be used on a solid, light background color. The high-resolution logo must be used for all print applications.

Logo updates: From time to time, Mindbody may update logos. Please check here for the most up-to-date logos. You may not create any new publications using the old logos, and Mindbody expects partners to update existing publications to the current logos within 90 days of the publication of new logos. Moreover, Mindbody reserves the right to request that Mindbody logos be updated and to disallow the use of old Mindbody logos.

If you are a member of the media and have any specific logo requirements, please contact us at [email protected].

Logo size: Mindbody logos can be found in these Guidelines in different formats and resolutions.

If you would like to use Mindbody logos digitally, use the PNG logos. To ensure the logo resolution and quality are not compromised, the PNG logos may not be enlarged beyond their native/maximum size. The PNG logo with the Enso image alongside the text must be presented at a width of at least 100 pixels, as shown below. The PNG logo with the Enso image above the text must be presented at a width of at least 80 pixels, as shown below.

If you need to enlarge Mindbody logos, for instance in print or for publication, use the SVG logos. These can be enlarged beyond their native size. In print, the SVG logo with the Enso image alongside the text must be presented at a width of at least 1.25 inches, as shown below. In print, the SVG logo with the Enso image above the text must be presented at a width of at least 1 inch, as shown below.

Termination: Mindbody may ask you to stop using the marks at any time. You must agree to stop using the marks and logos within a reasonable period of the time from when Mindbody makes the request. You may not, in any situation, continue to use the marks and logos for more than seven (7) calendar days after Mindbody makes the request.

Reservation of rights: Mindbody is the owner of all rights in the marks and logos and reserves all rights save the limited license granted here. Your use of the marks and logos pursuant to this license shall not be construed as limiting any of the Mindbody rights in the marks and logos.

Mindbody disclaims any warranties that may be express or implied by law regarding Mindbody marks and logos (to the extent permitted by law), including warranties against infringement.

III. Use of the Mindbody name

Any use of the Mindbody name or reference to Mindbody in public announcements, editorials, or advertisements—including but not limited to press releases, published articles, editorials, and advertorials—must be reviewed and approved by Mindbody in advance, through written permission. If you are interested in obtaining approval to use the Mindbody name, email [email protected].

Whenever referring to our company online, in print, or elsewhere, always refer to us as Mindbody using ALL CAPS, every time.

Correct: Mindbody
Incorrect: Mindbody, MindBody, MBO, MB, Mindbody Online, Mindbody Online

Do not use our company name with an apostrophe followed by an "s." This may require restructuring the occasional sentence, as you'll note has been done throughout this document.

Correct: Mindbody software, Mindbody employees
Incorrect: Mindbody's software, Mindbody's employees

IV. Mindbody logos

You may only use the Mindbody logo without a license only under the following limited circumstances:

  • In advertising, in marketing collateral, or on a website that references your connection with Mindbody, or
  • In an area of a website, advertising, or marketing collateral exclusively dedicated to the sale of Mindbody products, and in such a manner that associates licensed Mindbody software with the Mindbody logo.

Logos for use by third-party developers

As a third-party developer of Mindbody, you may download logos for use on your website and in connection with your application if it offers access to Mindbody APIs. Using Mindbody APIs does not, however, establish a partnership. Please do not imply a partnership with Mindbody unless there is a formal, written, current, and signed partnership agreement.

The "Powered by Mindbody" logo, shown below, must be displayed on every page, screen, or interface where Mindbody API data has a presence, and it must be displayed adjacent to where the implementation appears in your UI. The API logo or text must be an active link to company.mindbodyonline.com.

If you would like to use the "Powered by Mindbody" logo digitally, use the PNG version. To ensure the logo resolution and quality are not compromised, the PNG logo may not be enlarged beyond its native/maximum size. This PNG logo must be presented at a width of at least 100 pixels.

Logos for use by partners

If you have a current agreement with Mindbody other than a license to use Mindbody APIs, you may download the Mindbody "partner badge" for use in accordance with the terms of your agreement with Mindbody and these Guidelines.

The Mindbody partner badge must stand alone. To preserve the integrity and clarity of the Mindbody partner badge, you must ensure the presence of a certain amount of "clear space" between the partner badge and other graphic or textual elements. That "clear space" must be—at minimum—half the height of the badge, as shown below.

To download the partner badge, please contact us at [email protected].

Logos for use by the media

Logos may be downloaded for use in reporting on Mindbody business. These logos may not be altered, combined with other marks and logos, or used in a misleading manner. If you are a member of the media and have any specific requirements, please contact us at [email protected].

We remind media entities to kindly note that the proper and legal spelling of our company name is "Mindbody" (in ALL CAPS).

V. Screenshots

You may not use screenshots of the Mindbody homepage, company page, products pages, or class and appointment booking pages in Mindbody Software. If you would like a screenshot that is approved for use, contact us at [email protected].

VI. Printed materials, film, and television

Mindbody does not allow the use of its logos or the name "Mindbody" in the title or otherwise on the cover of books or other publications without prior written permission of Mindbody. VIII. Manufactured items

Generally, Mindbody does not permit the use of its marks and logos on manufactured or merchandising products (T-shirts, packaging, other memorabilia). If you wish to use Mindbody marks and logos on manufactured or merchandising items, please contact us at [email protected] and we will consider the request.

IV. Additional information

Mindbody requires that you conform to these Guidelines in your use of any writing, branding, or other communications.
